Fortune Centre on a weekday has its own slow hum. Shutters half raised, something frying a few units away, people drifting past with plastic bags of groceries.
I walked in thinking about juice. I walked out thinking about mushrooms.
That’s the quiet surprise of Tracy Juice Culture.
From Juice Bar to Full Meals: The Tracy Juice Story
Tracy Juice Culture began as exactly what its name says: a juice bar. Founder Tracy had been teaching healthy cooking classes at hospitals and cancer treatment centres, and the people she cooked for kept telling her to sell the food herself.
So she did. Over time, the menu expanded from juices into desserts and full vegetarian meals. The juice culture still lives in the name and the blenders, but many regulars now come for a bowl of noodles.
Older reviews might point you to International Plaza. That outlet has closed. Fortune Centre is where you’ll find it now.
First Impressions of a Small Outlet at Fortune Centre
It’s a small place: unit #01-34 on the ground floor, bright lights, green branding, produce in plain view. There’s a counter, a few stools, and extra tables set beside the unit.
Nothing here is trying to impress you. It’s clean, casual and compact. I liked that. It felt like a kitchen that cared more about what went into the bowl than what hung on the wall.
The Tracy Juice Culture Menu
The rules are simple: no egg, no garlic, no onion, no meat, no dairy. Most of the savory dishes are vegan food in all but label.
One honest note: honey appears in some items, especially desserts. If you’re strictly vegan, ask before you order.
Tracy's Special Mushroom Udon
This is the dish people talk about. Tracy’s Special Mushroom Udon (from S$12.90 on delivery) arrives thick and earthy, the broth closer to a mushroom gravy than a clear soup.
Inside sit thick udon noodles, savoury shiitake mushrooms, fresh broccoli, cherry tomatoes and house-made soy-mushroom balls. The mock meat doesn’t pretend to be chicken or beef. It’s simply hearty, like a good meatball.
The noodles are chewy and springy. Some diners wish there were a few more of them for the price. Still, by the bottom of the whole bowl, I understood why this special udon has become a craving for so many.
Fruit Juice Curry: Strange Idea, Real Flavor
Then there’s the Fruit Juice Curry (from S$10.90). Fruit is blended into the curry broth itself, then joined by dragon fruit, grapes and pineapple, alongside tofu, tau pok and udon.
It’s tangy first, then gently spicy, then a little sweet. This isn’t a creamy coconut curry, and it doesn’t try to be one. Some people fall for it. Others are simply glad they tried it. It’s the more adventurous half of the menu.
Something Gentler: Wild Rice Congee
The Wild Rice Congee (S$6.60) uses five kinds of organic rice with herbs, wolfberries, corn, mushrooms and seaweed. Quiet, warm and simple.
Peach Gum Cheng Tng, Red Bean and Lotus Seeds
The Creamy Beetroot (S$6.80) blends beetroot, carrot and pineapple with oat milk. It’s earthy and smooth, with no dairy at all.
In hot weather, the iced Pine Lemon (S$5.90) is the drink that brings you back to yourself.
Service With Patience
The team is warm and unhurried. They’re happy to explain the stranger dishes, which helps when you’re staring at “fruit” and “curry” on the same line.

My Verdict on Tracy Juice Culture
The seating is tight. The cheng tng runs sweet. The fruit curry won’t win everyone.
But the mushroom udon stayed with me: thick, honest and full of fresh ingredients. It’s a place for vegetarians, dairy-free eaters, mushroom lovers and anyone curious enough to try fruit in their curry.
